About us
Built on Experience. Backed by Professional Knowledge.
We’re a Norfolk-based company combining hands-on trade experience with professional building expertise.
Between us, we bring over 40 years of industry experience.
Steve is a qualified electrician serving the local area for over 20 years. Dan is a registered Building Inspector who was previously a builder with over 20 years’ experience, with in-depth knowledge of building regulations, structural integrity and compliance.
This gives us as team a unique advantage, understanding not just how to install solar, but how to integrate it properly and safely into your home.
Done Properly, Not Just Installed
With a strong background in construction and building control, we look beyond just fitting panels. We consider:
- Roof structure and loadings
- Safe and compliant installation methods
- Electrical safety and performance
- Long-term durability
It’s about doing the job right, not cutting corners.
Supporting Our Local Community
We’re proud to support the community we work in.
- Steve manages a Cromer Youth Football Team – supporting local grassroots sport
- Dan runs a family not for profit Taekwondo Club where surplus income is donated to local charities.
- DC Solar Installations is also proud to sponsor North Norfolk Panto Players – helping raise money for local charities
Being a local business means giving something back.
